changed the clutch and it wont go into gear. starts fine in neutral but will not go into any gear. turn the car off, and you can go through the gears fine.
thats exactly what we thought but we demonstrated witht he old clutch/flywheel and the clutch wouldnt seat if it was backwards. we tried adjusting it till only about two threads on the pointer and nothing.
And have you inspected and/or rebuilt the entire clutch linkage from pedal to throwout fork ? If any and all the bushings and linkage are worn, that alone will take up all the travel in it to where there's little or none left to engage the clutch.
