Emissions, idle quality and tuning cylinder to cylinder....but biggest thing I'd worry about is drop in FP in the rails at higher RPM's because the rail completely unloads....even worse with higher volume like E85 or alky.

Ok. I've decided to cheat and do an AJE kit. Suspension is getting old, and it's pretty scary sometimes if the car gets squirlly on the slicks trying to correct with a steering box. And the brakes just aren't going to cut it for the new combo. They were barely enough now. Like I said, haha, down fro a while. I'll just try to buy th stuff I can afford for right now that will keep me busy. Like cutting towers, making the intake into EFI, etc.

Got tired of metal shaving, steel and header building. So tinker a little with AL on this heap.

All right. I'm done for the day. See if I can catch the beginning of the Super Bowl I guess.

True that...

I'm just a little disappointed. It's like the developers have lost interest. 3 years ago when I fist bought my MS they were saying that the sequencer was
"comming soon". Firmware for the MSII hasn't been updated in about a year...

It's getting to the point where I'm starting to wonder if we'll ever see it.

The sequencer is being tested

I've seen them do it, but haven't seen anyone do it without a sequential EFI. Plus I know I'm going to outgrow the 120's if it's really at 50% more fuel. And I need to keep up with the times. There are going to be more staged injection systems in the next few years with 800-1k hp street cars. Have one coming up, but dunno if it'll be carb or EFI. So if I can get that under belt also a the same time....

i figure the 120's are good for 950hp @ 90% with e85. that would put my car in the 155mph range. i don't see me being near that anytime soon, so i feel safe.
i see what your saying about the batch fire. go on yellowbullet.com and ask around to see if anyone had any luck running 160's with btb. that's where all of the heavy hitters hang out.

Yeah, think it'll be a while for me on maxing the injectors also. But got tired of doing stuff twice a while ago. Costs more and a waste of time. But with the leap I'm taking now, only thing left is a 25.2-5 I know the new motor should do it. But dunno 'bout the chassis.

You sticking the the N2O still over a cooler ? 20 hit was it ?

Well this side was definitely more fun. Had to grind the hell out of the intake to get my holder to fit. Only one side so far. Tinkering here and there.

rock on!
the other day i bit the bullet and bought 120# inj, magnafuel 4303 pump, and fp gauge.
the only thing left to buy to get it on the road is the ecu (i have NO idea how i'm going to fund that, though).

Same way I'm going to, make it !! Always the easiest when ya got more time than money. The only stuff I've bought so far are the things that take time to make, build.Everything else will be bought over the next 5 yrs.

Soooooooo, I have made some changes in my plans. If there weren't changes in the middle of the build, I think I would be letting you guys down. the jack stands are now a part of my car. Waiting on a check to come from paypal so I can send it to the guy that has my engine in his shop. Sold my A4 shortblock to a buddy who needed a good block. Took that money, spent some more on a 410w in a good block with a bunch of extras, including a rear sump I need for my new AJE kit. Customer just grenaded his motor, so I sold him mine with the rockers. Took the money from the heads, spent an extra 50 bucks and got these Victors.

Now mind you, I have sausage fingers, so these mothers are pretty wide.
There is NO short side radius to these things. The air goes around the valve, and just kinda makes a loonnnggg sweep out.

I figured if I wanted a solid cam, no matter the size, I was going to be in the heads another 1,000 for better valves, spring, etc. Didn't want to spend it on the AFR's. Plus WHEN I wanted to go faster, I would need a different head, which would mean a different bolt pattern/location, and in the end, building a new set of headers. And since these will be stainless.... I'm not doing to the headers again. See how you can convince yourself to spend more money?

Next on the agenda is sell my ultimate converter for the C4. I sold the C4 already. So once they are both sold, I have a line on a PG with brake, blanket Neal chance bolt together converter. Difference will be approx 400 dollars. Stars are lining up around here lately and I am LOVING IT !!!! Not sure quite yet what the new goal is for the car other than not to crash it. But either way, my combo should be up to par for what ever I may able to throw at it. Pump gas motor ? :hmm:

Yeah, but less than 200. Would have been nice to find the 410w about 2 weeks earlier. It would only had on set of bungs, and could have got a decent amount for it. Now it's damn near worthless. I'll just flea bay it I guess.
