I am changing my ignition module on the distributor of my 86 5.0. Is there a good electronic grease I should be putting on this. Does it matter what kind I use. I just bought it and its a motorcraft part and i don't want to screw up the installation
Yes it matters. You need to use the proper dielectric grease- Radio shack sells it as QuickSilver- put a thin film on the back side. Do NOT use the stuff made for spark plug boots.
