changing interior colors

I always wanted an all black interior and both of my sn95s have had the black and gray. Well my driver seat needs to be replaced and I was wondering if now wsas the time to make the color change. DOes anyone have any experiance in dying the dash and door panels. Or would it be better to try and buy some used stuff.

I'm currently in the process of switching my blk/gry out for all black. I tried dying the kick panels but, after a while it all started to scratch off and look bad. So I did the long hard search for all black interior. I've been very lucky in finding what I needed. I picked up a headliner, 2 door panels, 2 rear panels, and a center console from Griggs racing for $100. I drove down to pick it all up. There are quite a few "self serve" wrecking yards around here and that's how I aquired the rest of my stuff for next to nothing. The entire switch cost me about $250. That's all my plastic peices and brand new carpet. I haven't dyed the dash yet and I still need to buy new seats. Going with a rear seat delete. Saving $$$$ for 03 Cobras.
