Changing my oil myself, few quick questions.

What oil filter would you suggest?
What Oil would you suggest?
What all will i need to buy to change it myself, if i have nothing at all?

I know i need an oil filter wrench, do i need any gaskets?

1. fram or mobil
2. mobil or amsoil
3. catch pan for oil, oil filter wrench
4. no gaskets are needed

suggest: lucas oil treatment with your new oil and a can of restore to put in your gas tank to clean the injectors.

Thank you, What weight oil should i use. What specific oil would you suggest? mobil and amsoil both have a bunch of sub-brand names.

Whats the lucas oil treament, and more info on the restore stuff?

I reccomend 5w30 - I've used both fram and mobil1 oil filters and had no problem.

people used to say copper autolite 764's (i think that was the number) were good
keep the stock temp range.
i haven't changed my plugs yet so listen to these other guys. i wouldn't know





motorcraft filter (820s) and syn blend 5w20 is what i always use :nice:
