changing stock amps

I was wondering where and how I could change the stock amps on a 97 GT. Thnx

Assuming they are in the same place as mine (98 gt) its behind the back seat, or maybe under the back seat in your case, I dunno mine are behind the back seat but its a vert. Do you have aftermarket speakers? If not, you may want to upgrade those before you go and upgrade the amp because you may blow the speakers. If you have aftermarket speakers already, then just get 1 nice 4 channel amp, and some wiring, I think i used 18 gauge, or maybe 16 gauge, one of the two. Run the wiring from the speakers to the new amp and you are set. Good luck and if you need any more help feel free to ask.
