Well I'm going to change my catback to a AT, I have magnapacks on it right now, its been three years, and I want to change back to flowmaster. Its just preference, I miss the flowmaster sound
Just wondering, before I had welded original 40's on it and I've seen that the AT catback is super 40's, which one sounds the best ? Can I put my original 40's on the catback I've just bought without some major work done.

I've look inside my old mufflers, they are nice on the outside but a little rust on the inside, you guys think its still good or I should just go with the new ones.
I'd love to get some sound clips of the difference with the original on the catback and super 40's.

american thunder is the 40 series iirc. if it says delta flow then they are a little more tame. they all rust due to the moisture in the exhausts. (sure you knew that) If they look good then put your old ones on and save money for another mod.

Well the catback comes with super 40's so I'm not sure if its similar to delta flows, but I think they are. So my originals should be alright then, I'll probably go with that if its not to much of a pain to install instead of the ones that come with the catback.

I might keep my magnapack catback just in case I want to switch back to it, the thing I love about my current catback is the nice 3.5in tips, I think they look perfect on my stang.

Ok, well I've received the catback today, will probably get it paint this week, I've check the mufflers and the pipe that goes to the mid is welded to the mufflers so they would have to cut the pipes and weld the other one in place, I don't know if I wanna do that, seems like too much work.
I'll see what the exhaust shop tells me. Btw those super 44's sounds pretty good, never heard of them, is that some new ones ?

Not usre how long they have been out but yes they are new models. They claim that they are louder, deeper tone, and more aggressive sound with less resonance. All is true, but for the first couple weeks the resonance was loud inside, but once that burning new muffler smell goes away the res is alot tamer inside and the sound is better, thos clips where done in the first few days I had them on.I do like them better than the Flow CB with 40's I had on my GT.Now I just gotta get a better mid pipe, its all stock.

The shop that did mine would have changed tips, they just cut off the old and put on the new.He had some tips there, all sizes for $25ea installed, but they didnt have any rolled tips that I liked,im gonna order some nice ones,i want bigger than the stockers.

Hopefully I answered the question correct, wasnt sure If I got your question.

It pretty much answered it So they cut the old ones and put the other ones on, make sense. Thanks for the answer, just waiting for the paint I've put on the weld to dry and I'll get it installed

I have stainless 40 deltaflows and love them. Not to loud untill you get on it then they scream. the drone isnt bad at all unless you lean forward or backward then its loud.
