Charcoal cannister cap

I moved my car out of the garage the other day and i found this plastic cap laying on the floor. I have no idea where it came from so i put it on my workbench figuring i find out eventually....It looks exactly like a charcoal cannister cap i saw in the 5.0resto catalog but i do not know where on the car this is located. Anyone have an idea?? The catalog sells them in quantities of 2. Thanks...

someone else been parking in your garage? I dont show Ford using that cap(or style vapor system) on anything after 1997

No....only my car sits there.....Maybe i don't have one of those cannisters but that cap looks exactly like that one in the catalog...

1998 up have a different style evap system and those canister dont have caps on them. maybe got kicked-up off the road and fell-out when you got home?
