charcol canister

since i dont need emmisions i can take charcol canister off. one line goes to intake , but where does the other line go to...the one that goes into firewall?

Won't you still need it for your gas tank? It vents it so pressure does not build up.

can you just vent it off under the car? or is that really unsafe.

You can vent it out under the car, but gas vapor tends to explode. SO make sure you vent it into a place where it won't build up.

I know people who have done it, no explosions yet

Unless components are damaged and one does not wish to replace them, there is no real reason to delete it. One can but I would not.

The vapors are purged into the intake when conditions allow, which is only beneficial. Plus one does not have to smell fuel vapor, which often happens when a direct vent is run.

I vented mine into the pass. side fenderwell...and yes you can smell the gas vapor ocassionally, but that ugly canister is out of my engine bay

I just relocated my canister under the passenger fenderwell to get it out of the way.
