....posted the pictures in another thread but they were buried at the bottom. Picked up the Charger on Saturday. I must say its fun as hell to drive. Decided we didn't need to pay the addition $10k for the SRT version. This one still gets up and goes for a 4000lbs sedan. As you can see, adds a little color to the museum :p Now someone needs to make a good home for the S351 coupe!!! Any takers???:nice:

I was wondering if you were going to go the SRT route with all the other performance cars you already have. I think you made the right choice. That red is a very sharp color.

ps. Changed my nickname since the Saleen has been purchased. No longer a saleenbuyer but a proud owner instead.

CA real estate has been pretty good to more than a few people over the last 5 years :nice:

....can't argue there. I bought a condo in downtown Long Beach and sold it two years later for a 100k profit. Not a bad short term investment. Wish I would have bought the whole complex, I won't have a mortgage right now!! :D

Congrats Robert,
Looks like I need to redrawn the Toon without the SRT goodies.

.....non of the dealerships were willing to meet me half way on the price for the SRT8. They were being greedy and feel like most people will pay ABOVE MSRP for the model. We found the R/T with the optional Road and Track pagckage which included the same suspension and interior that the SRT8 has along with a few other goodies. We all know that it won't take much to mod the "smaller" hemi to get the same power as its big brother......Even better, my insurance is cheaper, the gas mileage is better and I saved 10K. I can think of alot of things to do with 10K. What we don't have is the wing, hood, brakes and wheels. IMHO, not worth the 10K for the "family car" :p

...oh yeah, would love to see a drawing in the R/T package. It would add a little flair and color in a frame for the Saleen Museum.....
