All my 'stuff' is below. I've put a Ford stock replacement bearing in and tried a heavy duty bearing. The Ford bearing lasted the longer than the heavy duty and even looked beefier than the HD but once again it's chattering. Can anyone recommend a bearing that can hack it?

Thanks :)

If installed correctly (and fully assuming that the chattering is not the clutch disk itself), the TOB should be lasting the life of the clutch assembly. What condition is your bearing retainer/quill in? It's not the stock aluminum one is it? Also as said, how many miles on the clutch?

Not sure exactly of the mileage on the clutch and tranny. Maybe 20-30k. I'm sure it's the bearing because I've swapped it twice before. The retainer/quill (I'm assuming that that is the shaft coming from the front of the tranny that the bearing rides on) is aftermarket and steel. About the only thing in that area that is stock is the clutch fork.
