Sorry, It's not for my Mustang but I need to replace the motor in my work truck. Just a basic 1970 Ford with a 302. I'm looking for a cheap short block just so I can get it back on the road. If anyone has any recomendations & or prices I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I reccomend coasthigh performance or dss racing, bot that budget short blocks that are priced failry cheap and have forged pistons unlike a fms shortblock unless you opt for that more expensive option.

The ford SB has hyperuretic pistons that are weaker and cannot last long with a supercharger or NOS! They are actually cheaper that is why ford uses them to save money! Whatever SB you buy make sure the pistons are good quality forged units!
