Whell, with my recent HG issues, i think that most of my problem is my heads, being gt40ps and milled.

I would like aluminum heads, like some nice afr's etc but i really dont have the money right now.

Is there a cheaper Cast iorn head that is sold? I was thinking of using stockers, but i would like something a bit better if possible. Any ideas?
Ped mount, large chamber a plus. Thanks guys

hmm... good ideas guys...i've heard about thumper heads.....what are those? Also, how much does tmoss charge to port a set of heads? How about a lower intake manifold?

also, looking at those protopline heads....im liking them...64cc chamber and cast....but how $ much?

Milled P heads are not your problem. Whats the CC of the chambers anyway? If the chambers are too small, open them up. Why slow the car down?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

In case one searches, it would be Mike (Thumper 460) that does heads. Tom does intakes (unless he's doing heads now and I was out of the loop. ;) ).

What kind of C.R. and boost are you running (were you running)?

honestly, i dont know how to figure out compression ratio....can anyone tell me?

stock block with stock p heads, milled .030.
Stock cam

I was only at about 6lbs when it started knocking badly.

Mind you, the car handled 18~ lbs of boost before with these heads(before they were milled) with my crane 2031 cam...when the wg's dident open...no problem.

So, it was eaither bad gas, or the cam. But i was thinking i would be able to run the stock cam still if i get new heads?.......im going crazy over this.
