check engine error p0354

2002 idles rough changed the plugs and boots, now get error code p0354 ignition coil d primary secondary circuit mafunction. need help. want my baby back on the road.

so you got the code AFTER you changed the plugs? why did you change the boots?

the boots are part of the coilpack itself

forget it. left the connector of the coil packafter i check the coils resistance it was number 4 ran good for a while now the car seems to run fine but check engine light is flashing once in a while. gotta get code read again and see what it is now.

Please do not drive the car, when it flashes it usually means that there is something critical going on. My car would miss and the CEL would flash several times. Try to find a friend with a OBD2 reader and find what the code means. Or baby the car to the auto parts store and figure out whats wrong.

the boots are available seperately. its common to see them get eroded and cause a misfire, especially on F-series and Lincoln LS.
