I installed the performance tune with the Diablo Predator. The car seems faster with the advanced timing and modified air/flow ratio. My problem is this: when I accelerate up to 80-90 mph the car drops in power and the check engine light comes on. Usually it goes off but sometimes it stays on. When I re-install the stock tune, the light goes off.

Since the Predator tune is for a stock Mustang GT, perhaps my intake mods have already leaned out my car and the Predator tune makes it too lean. What do think?

Can't you use the code reader function? It should tell you why the light is comming on. Is the SES flashing or steady? If flashing, return the car to stock and get rid of the Predetor. Don't drive it like that anymore.

To be honest, the first thing I thought was lean as well.

This is the trouble with this unit. It is not field tested enough yet. Probably a programming problem with the unit as it is too new. This is why I prefer SCT as it is proven and they have awesome customer support.

I checked for error codes using the Predator. None were listed.

Hum, I can't dispute that, but it does not seem right.

Can you read codes while driving with it?

My mistake. I just went to check the fault codes and several were listed. The Predator listed P0602, P0605, P1211, and P1690. It then stated that these codes were normal for tuned vehicles. Is this true? Two other codes were listed: P0303 (cylinder 3 misfire) and P0304 (cylinder 4 misfire). What does this mean?
