i just had my o/r prochamber installed and while doing so, my mech asked if id need MIL elims. I said no as I have a predator and could turn them off so my check engine light doesnt come on.

yet after driving it for several hours, the light hasnt come on. is there some thing wrong?

when i put my o/r x pipe on the light didn't come on for a couple of days
i think it might just take the computer a few days to realize something is wrong but don't quote me on that its just a guess. or maybe since you have a predator it doesn't read it the same way.

First start by using the predator to pull the codes, see if there is another problem such as upstream O2's or possible leak. I too have a predator but still used the mil elim just for this reason, plus when I go for an inspection, pull the o/r tubes out and put the cats in, there is no code thrown....also, if you use a catted H or X pipe that uses only 2 cats you will still need to use mil elim.

I ran into the same thing. I installed an off road midpipe and the MIL never came on. Diablosport support confirmed that the rear 02 sensor test was already shut off in my Performance Tune. I guess not all Performance Tunes are like that. I had to tell them which computer code I had before they could confirm if the test was already shut off or not.

Why would you still need mil's with a catted H-pipe? Also who makes a H-pipe that is easy to switch cats in and out?
