My check engine light is on. I took it to the mechanic and he ran the diagnostic. He said it was an O2 sensor. Heres the thing, I have an o/r X-pipe with MIL elims. What could be the problem? Could it be an O2 sensor? Could the MIL elims gone bad?

i have MIL's on my car with an O/R H and when one of my O2's went south i didn't get a check engine light. The car was running rough though and my air/fuel gauge was pinned at lean. I figured out the problem that way. Point being, i think if your car is running smoothely and your SES light is on its probably a failure in the MILS. If you have a service manual for the car, i believe there are ways to diag. an O2 senser with a multimeter.

thats what i thought. I just didn't know if the mils had a history of going out. Its running smoothely, ive had no problem with it at all. Thanks.

Since im on it, i don't remember where I got them from. Where is the best place and how much are they?
