Check Engine Light

did u remember to unplug your battery while you were installing the new sensor, if you didnt your computer will still have the code stored and the light will still be on. just unplug your battery for about half an hour and that should do it. If not, the problem still exists. anytime u do anything to the car, disconnect the battery and let the computer learn everything again.

Hey, Im in the same place right now. I guess that in order to clear the codes you have to be doing a scan and cancel the scan in progress. Supposidly youre not supposed to diconnect the battery to clear the codes because when you hook it back up, a battery fault code will be stored.
The last way to clear the code is to let the car go through 3 warm up cycles (engine going from cold to running temp), as long as the problem doesnt happen in those 3 cycles, on the fourth start up the engine light will go off.

remove the negative battery terminal and then letit sit a couple min. after taping the brake to drain any power remaining in the system. the light WILL go off after you reconnect it but... it may not stay off if it stays off more than 10 min you sould be good.
