So.. I was getting a check engine light and I got the codes scanned, resulting in two codes of:
P1131 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean - Bank No. 1.
I replaced the upstream oxygen sensors on both banks yesterday and I got a new check engine light, four codes, two of each:
P1130 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Adaptive Fuel Limit - Bank No. 1.
P1131 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean - Bank No. 1.
What does this new P1130 code mean? Could the new sensor I installed be faulty? I assume that the engine is actually running rich because I smell pretty strong gas fumes when idling. Anyone?
