Pretty darn sweet if you ask me - I remember seeing this advertised in a 1996 issue of MM&FF (still have the mag) and it claimed to have gains of 47 hp. Requires a custom hood (also offered by Roush once apon a time) The list price was like $2700 (included hood). I'd bid on it but I have no intentions of getting a different hood (not enough funds right now) Pretty sweet piece if you ask me! Rare for sure!

yeah i found that thread....does the intake come with tha wrap-around tube?

its sweet looking off the car, but i think it kills the engine bay, SORTA. its kinda big and hides everything else.

I agree. Also I don't see how you need a special hood?

It does look like it would use air from the cowl, all the mass that would be infront of the firewall is moved tward the front of the engine, and in those pictures you can see a panel type airbox. The pics posted on here seem to be someones custom setup.

YEAH, how the hell do you put oil in it?

I believe that the filter set-up shown that comes with the intake was made to work with a ram-air style hood. It does look like it would work with a regular cowl induction hood. And how would you put oil in the engine anyway

That intake was made for 94-95 cars and it used a special cowl induction hood. That pipe in the picture is a good idea, but not what roush intended.

You know, I just looked real close at the picture again........ The oil fill is on the driver's side in the rear - looks like they just reversed the valve covers....

I found some pictures in a mustang magazine from '96. Supposedly the intake was good for 100 hp if you added the roush ported gt40 aluminum heads.

This item is like 10 miles from my house. It wouldn't suprise me if the person selling it is a member here.
