I saw a guy with a white v6 here in town last night. Pulled up next to me at a light and started to rev it up. I have some videos if you would like. the car was white. It did not impress me at all. i figured it would have a better style than what it has. I do not get it. Ford makes a sweet concept car then puts out something like this. what a joke. I would not take one if it was given to me.

And btw, I like the new '05. GT's, anyway. I heard they don't have the squeaks and rattles that 04's down do, but i haven't experienced that first-hand of course.

I love the 05, you guys are nuts. I have seen them a few times and is superior to mine in every way. I'm getting mine in '06.

Oh yeah, and the Mustang is NOT a "sports car" (who ever said that). A Miata is a "sports car"

It does look better in person, not too bad actually. The two girls I was with said it looked like complete ass though, but I saw a lot of older folks drooling all over it, guess it's the nostalgia factor.
Thing is, it has completely lost all of its "sports car" look (if you want to get all anal about it, it's a "muscle car" but whatever, thats stupid they are ALL sports cars to me if they are designed for performance). The 99-04 still had the very curvy, aerodynamic kind of look... the new one looks straight-up like a classic car, which is what they were aiming for so I guess they should be happy.
I'll keep my 02 for now, when I graduate in two years my mom already said I could have a C6 Vette... I wouldn't consider one of the new Mustangs anyway, they really aren't THAT bad at all but I wouldn't actually pay for one. The c6 on the other hand... omg that car looks orgasmic.

Wow I wish my Mommy would buy me a vette. But some of us have to work for what we get. So its a good thing you wouldnt actually by a new mustang. But you should fit in with the other 90% of vette owners, who thinks their s*** doesnt stink!

There is a lady with a yellow 05 gt a couple blocks over.

it looks ok. I am not ready to run out and buy one or anything. it just needs some help. to me wheels, hood, cover the side windows with some scops and it would look okay.

it remides me of how the 99 cars looked stock. just a bit plain for my taste.

I saw a blue one at the local Ford place while they were shooting a commercial and then it was gone. I liked the interior and the front. I did not care for the backend. A functional scoop will be very BOSS. I also noticed that it had P-Zero's on it. I thought that was strange.

I'm not ready to go out an buy one though. My 02 will be off 3/36 next Sept and then I can really do some mods!

squeeks and rattles didn't start until 4 years after i got my 99 gt. and that was probably due to the bone shaking exhaust mods.

I looked at a red 05 GT at the ford dealer and I didnt like it at all.Look HUGE, very bulky, both inside and out.And I couldnt stand the interior, especially the head rests, thats all you see when you look over to the right.Gauges are very far into the dash, hard to read.I am still going to test drive on though...if they let me drive an 04 cobra I think they will let me in an 05 GT LOL.

They had a pace car at a dealer here, and my wife asked "WHat is that awful thing?"
She used to have a '98GT and I've had several stangs.
I told her it was the new stang and she said "ewwww...."

My thought exactly.
On the dyno the '05s are putting down 260 to the wheels, and I like the suspension but it is just FUGLY!

I have never seen an '05 'Stang in person....yet.
But I do like the cornfield ad "with" Steve McQueen. (Very nice editing, BTW!)

Do the '05's come in a 'Vert? I don't think so, 'cause I have not heard much about the '05 'Verts.

Mustangs are NOT sports cars?
Please tell my insurance company that! It will probably save me a few hundred bucks a year on car insurance!

Personally i like the 99-04 body style better, more agressive and sporty, but I hear the '05 is quite comfortable on the road...

The Roush and Saleen 05's look much better, haven't seen the 07 Cobra yet but I hear good things.
