I took my upper intake off to change the gasket hoping to cure my idle problem. I figure while I got it off I could check my ACT sensor. I did hook the ohm meter to it w/o the car running. The temp in my garage was a 40 degrees and I got a reading of about 72k ohms. I want to check if its resistance at 50 degrees. How can I do this before I put the upper back on?Somebody told me I could run water over it to check it. Will this work without ruining it?
