Secret Identity revealed...

Well Pak, your secret is out!

Yes, we did not get the photo (even though I was in your area this summer, cough cough). Maybe someone can photo-chop?

I already have invited you to meet me when I go to F.F. in a few weeks to look and order the kit. Still game? There I can repay you. (bring the convertible, it's title, cash, list of next of kin........)

So now you're the big guy in the club! I hand over the reins to you! Rule well, oh Mach 5 Master!

So now that the car is sold, do you think your daughter will let you live long enough to start a Cobra project?

I read this yesterday, but I really didn't know what to say. I hope you enjoy your next project, since it's all about having fun!

RM -

One more challenge with Chepie. It's still in the garage until it's picked up, so the sale has not fully impacted yet. Yes, we'll both be sad, but she is excited about participating in my next project. Besides, I'm having a hard enough time as it is trying to keep alive, dodging her dirty laundry, back pack, debris all over the house, crazy friends (Thankfully no boyfriends yet!!!)

she'll do me in yet.......

Well, since you weren't getting stoned to death and branded a traitor, I figured it was safe. Touche', Ok, maybe I'll chop one up some day, at least we were in the same issue though.

Yes, I am still game for the FF, do you know the exact day yet? I just found out that I will be in Orlando from 3/5 to 3/13 for a combined business/pleasure trip so if it's while I'm home then count me in! BTW, it was I who owed for the article, remember, so now we're even.

That's only for as long as you can keep her seperated from the likes of those pressed Christmas cookie and furry blue monster types!

Looks like I will miss you by about 10 days as I am heading down there about the 23rd. Interesting that you live in Exeter, as I drove someone out there to buy a Jeep once.

Sorry, it doesn't work that way.....my Director of Nursing hands me my schedule and says,"This is IT no ifs, ands, or buts............." As it is they really stuck it to me this month and denied me two days I requested off to take CME classes!

Awe, bummer, so close and yet so far. Well, that's the first window I missed so far. I am amazed at how many people so far from all different aspects and times in my life that my trip is acidentally co-ordinating with. It should be great, nothing like working on Kids concept product and getting a free trip to Disney.

Hunh, no kidding. Let me guess, was it Gil's in Stratham off of 101? I looked there first for my Jeep, but I ended up buying it at the big 5 star Bournival dealer in Portsmouth instead.

Cool by me, the first of spring sounds ideal for a road trip, count me in!

It was from a private party. I was living in Kittery at the time.

Finally talked with the new owner

Finally hooked up woth Pat last night, talked for a while. He's excited about owning Chepie, and continuing the work on it. Seems the car may actually be finished! He plans on driving it alot, enjoying it. I hope so, the car finally grew on me these last two years.

I invited him to join us, see what happens.

As for me, gathering parts already for the new project, will be transferring my "CHEPSK8" license plate onto the new project!

Wouldn't that be cool if I can get a few of us together in a few weeks!!! Anybody else?

So am I the only one not surprised then? Congrats man, glad it payed off! Can't wait to follow along the next one (especially if it ends up being the Deceiver II, unless I beat you too it ). I just wished we'd had the opportunity to photo them together.

[evil voice on] Muuuhahahahaha, my plan to be the one and only 69' vert on the board is finally coming true. Muuuhahahahaha [/evil voice off]
Actually it's lonely at the top.

Pak,

Hate to break it to you like this but we are now 69 vert buddies. I have been working on mine for a year or so. I am almost ready to post some pics as soon as the transmission lines go on and I can back it out of the garage. Stats are: White on white with white deluxe interior with wood grain appointments, 351C/2V, FMX trans, 9 inch 3:50, PS, PB, air, tilt wheel, Magnum 500'S

Well you know, it's funny you say that. I knew that you had one from the "proper side scoop finishing" discussion we dad, but I figured that was a turn around car for you like the red 70 vert you had. I didn't know you were keeping her as your own, always glad to have another buddy though. Actually, I gave your email to the same head hunter I gave Chesk8's to. Then I had checked your site but didn't see it for sale so figured she must have gone already. So are you in this for the long haul, or are we just temporarily brothers?
