A guy I work with has cherry bomb glasspacks on his 01 GT. I'll take my digital camera in with me some day and get a few videos. I don't think it sounds all that bad, being the only thing changed in the exhaust system. I'm POSITIVE that they wouldn't sound good with an offroad midpipe of any sort.

slp 1's are resonators, no glass packing just a hollow pipe

I listened to the sound clips on the CherryBomb set-up too. Personally...I like it! Sounds kinda old school & throaty.

I am looking for a new set-up to replace my stock pipes & this might be it. How does the Mac pro-pack set-up sound? I can't seem to find any sound clips. I don't really like the Magnaflow cause its a bit too high pitched & hollow sounding, while Flowmasters are a bit too deep, inconsistent & sound like someone gargling. The CherryBomb sounds clean, full & consistent.

I am posting a new thread looking for suggestions on cheaper/simple performance add-ons/mods that I can do as I get the extra cash. Any input would be very much appreciated!

I don't understand why you would get glasspacks. As others have said magnapacks, SLP LoudMouth IIs and FRPP Stingers are just like glass packs but better for one reason. Glasspacks are filled with fiberglass and over time that glass will blow out. The packs, SLP IIs and Stingers are packed with stainless mesh that won't burn up and blow out.

So what exactly is the difference between SLP LM 1s and the LM 2s? Besides the price lol. I have been told the LM 1s are louder. But I have heard clips of both and they dont seem too loud to me but enough to notice. I was thinking of getting the LM 1s in the spring but I have to see what the decibel limit in MA is when I go to get my car inspected in a few months.

SLP1s are basically a muffler delete, they don't have any kind of sound suppression material in them at all, they are just an open tube.
