The newly formed Chicagoland Mustang Club is looking for new members from the, as the name implies, Chicagoland area. We are a new club that was formed due to a lack of a Mustang Club in the immediate Chicagoland area being available that wasn't limited to specific Mustang era's. you might want to look into the legalality of using "CMC" as a sort version for the club. I say that because there is already a club that has CMC for their name. www.chicagolandmopar.com which is chicagoland mopar connection. which i am a member because i currently have a dakota that i am customizing for the triple threat. But i also own a 86 mercury capri 5.0L that i am doing work on.

The CMC has grown very well as of late- our members are having their first meet-and-greet at Hooters in Schaumburg, IL (1705 E. Golf Rd.) on Sat. I see that you want to plan a mustang drag day at a local track. byron dragway is always open to helping out local clubs for events. byron is getting better every year. byron might be a better choice than joliet or union grove or us 41.
