I ned some opinions. I have been trying to decode about getting the mach 1 chin spoiler. Ive seen alot of pictures of them on cars that are lowered and they look great and it would be a nice compliment to my grill delete. But i have;nt really seen any pictures of them on a non lowered car. You guys think it would still look good or not. I ask because i don't have any intentions or lowering my car?

Yeah, get it. But why aren't you going to lower it? You like the 4x4 look?

although I've got a 97 GT, I've got the mach 1 spoiler on my car also and the front end is dropped 2.5" and as long as I don't fly up to a curb when parking, it's fine.

Lowering your stang is a must. I have the steeda sport spring which dropped my stang about 1 inch or a little more. The drop wasn't dromatic BUT you can definately tell it is dropped. My neighbor has a 01 stang too that isn't dropped, whenever I look at his I get reminded how much better a stang looks dropped at least a little. BTW, I wish I got it dropped a little more.

The Mach 1 Lip/Grill make the car look 10x nicer I think. It completes the front end, a stock GT's front bumper is kinda up, and with the lip it even looks nicer. And the car doesn't need to be dropped to look nice, heres a pic that proves it.

I wish someone made a 4 or 5 inch chin dam. Seems the only choices are a complete bumper cover type needing paint for $300+ or this little chin spoler thing.

BTW, just installed an aftermarket chin spoiler and I'm not pleased with the fit. Does the OEM version fit flush all the way around or is it flush at wheel opening then under the lip in front?
