What's the best chip to get for a 03 GT right out of the box? Are any of the chips better for a dyno tune than the other?(Autologic,Diablo,Superchip).

just to let you know, you dont buy a chip usually anymore. you buy a tuner, like a SCT or a Diablo. they send you a program, then you get your car tuned and make sure the program works. some shops can modify the program there.

Im interested in this too. I have a blue Superchip module left over from another ford and was thinking of having it repogrammed and slap it in. I dont have any mods and dont plan on doing any for a little while.

Can you run regular gas with the diablo when your not racing? or 93 only? On one of the sites, it says you need 93, but i wasnt sure if it depended on the tuning you did. I know some chips/flashers have different programs for different octanes. thanks

there probably has to be different tunes because in states like CA, 93octane is unavailable. they highest we can get is 91 octane.

I run their program and retard the timing 2 degrees and it STILL runs WAY better.

This os on my 01 Cobra, the motor redlines so fast I hit the rev limit all the time !
TC is off for good.

I am in the field right now, so will give a update when I get back to the states.

Where else can you buy a scan tool that shuts off the TC, data stream and control the fan on and off ??

i bought a diablo chip for my 97 and i aint happy with it.. track times are the same
guy told me they didnt have a programmer for my car so i was stuck with chip

SCT is the way to go!

Diablosport is good, SCT is good, just go with whatever your local tuner uses. I went With diablosport cause thats what most tuners in socal use.
