Poll please, thoughts? I can't later in the future get slicks for the 15''s and they aren't nearly as aggressive. But the Cobra Rs leave my car at an irritating height that's unattracive.
I can either order another cobra R since one has a chip (150 dollars) or I can buy a full set of ponys for 175 from a guy locally. Either way about the same price

Do foxbodys with chrome rims look good if they're lowered, some way to make it more casual.

That does look really good! But that might be because it's a vert, really well flowing. I'll post a picture later tonight of how awkwardly mine sits on them.

Hmmm. Silver/gray paint jobs look amazing with the rims, really match, it must be my paintjob + the height that's the issue. so lowering springs I suppose and one new rim (cause of the chip). If I could get my car painted silver or gray I would, this orange is unique but too showy for me.

I think the guy that owned it before me wanted it to look like those crown vics people drive with 22''s on...

There's probably a good 4 to 6 inches around in different areas of the wheel well of space. The stance is just too high like this.

Suggestions for good 'low' lowering springs? Also looking for some center caps that aren't Cobra's, if I drove a 93' Cobra i'd drive with cobra symbols, but I want something like mustang, not Cobra. While I think these cobra emblems are a bit unique since I couldn't find replacements for my two cracked ones to sell as a set or something.

And would I only aim to lower my front end or should I just take the hit of a slightly worse ET time at the quarter and lower the entire car?

IMO dont get lowering springs. Truthfully since your car is an LX , Id get pony r's they look sick on a factory height car. They kind of make people look twice, like "damn why does that car look so good" trust me thats what I said.

Hey, I think the pony r's look good on a lowered car.. These are BBK progressive rate springs, BTW. They're ok, but I'm going to lose them to coilovers eventually.

They both look great, I think I'll end up with the pony's. Easier, cost efficient too since I can sell my set of Rs for a good penny without lowering the car. The only down side is I take the loss of a wider tire.

It's hard to make your car look nice and perform just as well on a budget

One last question, do they make quality slicks for 15'' rims?

Pony rims (stock ones anyway) are 16", not 15".

And mine are 10" wide in the rear... so you won't lose width unless you want to. Also the Pony R comes in 17.

Well i'm not buying new, im buying from a guy locally. But if stocks are 16'' and he just said 15'' then that sounds better to me. Here are the pictures he sent me. No center caps with it though. Only 175 and a decent amount of tread left by the looks of them
