I have been using both power recepticles until recently. First the cigarette lighter recepticle quit working and then the aux power. I didn't realize buy my phone charger was doing this. I've checked the fuses under the hood and also the box by the left door, and all the fuses are good. I pulled out the cigarette lighter recepticle and it appears to be ok. I'm at a loss. What do I do? (I've already thrown away the bad phone charger!).

How did you check the fuses? You can't go by looking at them, you need a tester or test light to really know.

Replace the fuses anyway and see if they work. The fuses are pretty cheap so it won't break the bank.

I replaced the fuses and the problem still exists. I also checked the power seat and it works OK. It appears to be on the same circuit as the cig & aux power plugs. Where else should I look?

Check the integrity of the hot wire to the cigarette lighter and auxilliary power point behind the shifter bezel and the under the center console. It could be pinched or shorted out, particularly if something has been spliced into it

I'm starting to think you lost the ground, not the hot wire. Check them with a test light but hook the test light ground some place else and see if it lights up.
