NW Civil war??

How bout a North vs. South race at the end of the year? Maybe let's say,... Sept 23rd(For PIR)? I would help put it together on this end if someone from up north could put out the word.

We need a plan.

Maybe PIR this year(Or Woodburn?), and up north next year? No classes, just heads up fun. Pick your battles, north vs. south, on a test and tune night would be easy. Prob a saturday eve would work best because PIR has a street legal drag on those nights from 7-1ish i think. Plus most people are off work on sat. Any brand car or truck.....

Any one intrested? We really need to start some smack talk!!!

p.s. the south will rise again!!!

PIR is open on Sunday August 20th for an all day race, I could talk to pete about it if there is interest. Would be cool to get guys from the seattle area and even Canada to come down if possible.

Maybe get everyone to kick in a few buck for "I won the OR/WA civil war 2006" T-shirts for the cars on the winning teams or something.

Ya, a whole day to race would be really cool. Maybe even a quick 8? (4 fastest cars from each side go head to head?)

How about a civil war between area shops...AFP/BOP vs. KK vs. F.A.S.T. Specialties? Kick things off with a heads up race between the two famed DSG '03 cobras? That would be even more fun.

I don't believe so, though they do have a shop car (red classic mustang, tubbed out) that runs mid 9's.

I was thinking more of a area vs. area type thing. Maybe Vancouver south is one team, and Olympia north would be another team, and anyone in the middle could pick what side to support. Performance shops could help the whole team....
