If the original owner sold the car on Ebay for $28,000 and he bought it new for sticker at $21,578 he only made about $6400 over 13 years...

That boils down to less than $500 a year, most people can make that in a week no problem.

Cars are a great investment.

atleast he got his money back and then some, original owneres, with bolt on cobras with over 140k on the clock lost over 11k. I guess its different though, because they enjoyed it while this guy looked at his, you are right.

He might not have if you consider that he might have paid for storage. Even if he found a magical $50 per month storage place that was up to watching/securing the car, he spent $2500+ a year just on storage alone.

If he only made $500 a year he would have to find a place to store it that would only charge $9.60 cents per month to store it... That is impossible. :(

Add to that an income for a guard, property taxes for the space it was stored, climate controlled power bills, etc...

They probably lost money.

Yeah that's true, but the name on the title is the same name of the guy with the dealership. I bet he had it locked up on his own lot there. Although if he was paying for storage insurance on it all that time, that's another story...
