Yeah, i know, its not the best place, but i tried a bunch of things and i cant get this carpet cleaned.

my damn dog had a few pissing sessions on an area rug we have here. i've tried vinegar, steam cleaning, and enzyme cleaners, nothing has gotten the smell of pi** out of the rug.

would my neighbors look at me crazy if i took the area rug out back and litterally soaked it in water with hose? im getting sick of the smell. i dont feel like buying a new damn rug.

Then it would smell burned ... He doesn't want another smell.

The best thing I have found is to steam clean with just hot water and then let it sit out in the sun for a couple days. The sun works wonders on stankness sometimes. I know this because in my old car I had a water leak and mold grew on my floormat. **** was killa stank!!

its sitting outside right now overnight, and will stay out there all tomorrow.

i tried a few enzyme cleaners, steam cleaned quite a few times, sprayed the underside with multiple cleaners. while it may have helped with the piss smell, now i smell chemicals.

trust me, i would like to burn it, but that might not be the optimal solution to the problem
