You can use a very fine steel wool to make them look real nice, but it HAS to be super fine grade, not the coarse or you will scratch it. But it works good.

I use Mother's Metal Polish.

It is non-abrasive, so it doesn't scratch like other polishes.

Metal polish or a fine emery cloth... Don't use wax as it'll discolor the metal and leave a stain that is hard to remove.

even 000 steel wool leaves small scratches that eventually rust. stick with a polish for best results. i scrub the tips with a washmitt when washing, then polish them afterwards. well worth the work. they look horrible when not cleaned up nicely.

oh yeah Never Dull I have some of that at home. I'm coming home for the weekend from college to install the FRPP/Borla axle back I picked up in perfect condition used. It just needs to be polished.

I'll try the Never Dull since I have it. If that doesn't work then I'll try mothers!

Thanks everyone!

You can't go wrong with that. Just re-polish them every month or so.
