Does anyone have these? My OEM are all fogged up and scratched. I was wondering how the fit and quality was on these aftermarkets.

I was thinking about that high shipping price myself, but they look pretty good to me.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but has anyone tried these rok-gards?

That looks really good man, how's the fit? Does it feel flaky and cheap at all? Any problems with it?

The shipping may seem a bit high but from what I've seen so far the price is about the same. Roughly $170 for the set, it could be $110 and $60 shipping or $160 and $10 for shipping, it still equates to the same thing.

Oh yeah, NICE WHEELS

I want to get rid of the amber reflectors. I saw the How-To article on MustangWorld but I'm afraid to try it. I wish the 99+ had more options for aftermarket lights.

thanks, i got those on ebay, they are about 170 included shipping for a pairs
fit and finish are perfect, i got them on without any problem. they even included the new bulbs in there.
Don't try to remove the yellow by yourself. my friend and i try to do it, but it is a pain in the ass, so we quit and bought a pair of this on ebay.
BTW, i saw many screwed up by removing the yellow amber. it looks terrible

In the 12 years I have owned a Mustang, I have never owned "rok-gards" and I have never had a headlight cracked by a rock.

Just make sure that your state doesn't require the amber reflectors. Otherwise, you might be in for some trouble at yearly inspections, or when pulled over.

Without the amber reflectors, are these even D.O.T approved???

I've had a combination wrench fall off of a pick-up and go right into the glass headlight on my old Maxima.

After 12 years, are your headlight's plastic lenses all scratched up?

I didn't say I owned the same Mustang for all 12 years. 6 in a Fox, 6 in an SN95. At the end of my ownership of the Fox they weren't really scratched up, just yellowed.

I got similiar headlights from ebay except mine have a black finish in the inner housing. the side reflectors are clear. I paid around $160 shipped and they came in two packages. the quality isn't much different from OEM and they sure as hell look a lot better especially since my stang is white. hopefully i'll have pictures soon... also, the seller was named revotek and they were good to deal with. package arrived within 3-4 days.

How about we do this,

People, list your brands and where you bought it, so we know where to avoid.

How did they fit- and how does the quality appear to hold up?
