Clicking from rear when coming to a stop....

When i go to slow down and stop at a redlight some clicking noise comes from the back of my car. It only does it at very low speeds. Could it be something with the self adjusters of the drum brakes? I did do 5-lug conversion maybe its something with that? The noise starts fast but as i slow the noise slows too. It only does it maybe 5 clicks each time i go to slow down.

could be or jack it the rear and check your drive shaft just a thought

I have a jeep that does this and is believed to be caused by a chip in the ring gear in the rear end. Not a huge problem but thats what we found on our jeep... might not be your problem...just making some suggestions...

maybe jack the rear end up, throw it in neutral and rotate the wheels...see if you can hear it. I had a problem sorta like this one time except mine was constantly on my grand cherokee...ended up being the self-adjusting cable had broken and was dragging - kinda what you were thinking.

mine did that, it turned out to be my rear drums, i had to have them turned and now its fine
