Ok, I have a few questions about the climate control system. I notice the noise that sounds like a loud PSSTT sound every 10 or so seconds that everyone else hears, so I assume that is a normal operation.

When I have the fan on and the AC button is not depressed, I can still hear that PSSTT sound. I thought it only came happened when the AC came on. Does the fan bring in air from the outside or does it use the AC system?

Also, no matter what setting I have the air position on (feet, dash/feet, etc) air always blows out of the windshield vent a little bit. It’s like there is a problem with the ducting or something.

When it’s humid out, I get a lot of fog or hazing on the outside of the windshield at the very base of it in the middle. Does anyone else get this?

I hear more of a clicking sound when the a/c clutch is engaging/disengaging. It does this even when the a/c is not on but I have the fan running. Only when the controller is on the OFF position do I not here the clicking sound. Very annoying.

I've had problems with the climate controls since day 1. (Dec 8th)

If you want air/heat from the main dash vents.... OK.
They work great!

All other settings direct the air onto the winshield.

So far Ford does not have a fix. (as far as I know)

As for your other noises.... I have not experienced them.... yet!

Happy Fording.

Check the bottom of page 29 of your owners manual. If you select windshield or combination of windshield and anything, your a/c will automatically come on and cycle. That is the clicking you here. I would guess your windshield fogging problem is because the a/c is on and set to a cold setting and the humidity in the air is condensing on the glass. Try setting the temp control to a warmer setting and this should take care of your problem.

Ya, but that still doesn't change that fact that when I put the vent onto blow at my feet, it blows on my face lol.

mpentico is correct. Ford engineers have acknowledged this problem and are still working on a fix. Unresolved for everyone at this point.
