Anyone know were or what to use if you loose 1 of the 4 clips that hold the trim around the shift/lighter? On an 01 Bullitt
I went to the dealer and he said that the clips come with the trim piece for $100+.

I find it hard to believe that they don't just sell the clips. What if one of the guys at the dealer are working on your car and loose one???

thanks

Rent a mustang from Enterprise and get all those little pieces that you need for free

I need one of those clips too. Lost it when I put on my MGW shifter. Went to my friend who's the parts manager at my local Ford fealer and he spent 15-20 minutes looking through all his clips and couldn't come up with something I could use. The correct clip is not available seperately, I looked along with him on the parts catalog computer. Now my bezel is loose and moves back and forth when I shift. I'm going to pop the bezel off and see what I can do.

Problem is there that the Salvage yards not going to want to give up the clips because then it makes his trim piece junk. Unless i just swipe one...

3 bucks a piece. or if your a cheap bastard like me just put a couple layers of electrical tape on there and pop it in. works great but has to be replaced each time you remove it.
