I have a 1991 5.0 and have a problem I'm not sure what is causing it or how really to diagnose it.

At night when I have my lights on and wipers on my cluster light will without warning start to flicker then my cation lights on my dash will light up and stay lite at which time my wipers will just freeze up and stop working, as u can imagine this is a huge problem so any help is greatly appreciated

Double check grounds like mentioned. Other possible culprits especially if wipers are affected are multi function switch and ignition switch.

Which ground wires or where will the ground wires be coming from I need to check? Is there a way I can test them or a way I can test to see if it's a switch or ground wire? Sorry for the questions that may sound dumb but while I am mechanically inclined i know very little about thevery electrical parts or wiring of cars. Thanks for the help

Get yourself a digital multimeter and a test light. My guess would be the ignition switch, you can grab one cheap at any parts store.

Im new and this is my first post/reply. Seeing that you are having problems with/while/during/and after wiper function, you probably need a multi function/wiper/turn signal switch.
