Last night as i pulled out from my friends house, im driving down the street and i go to shift into 2nd gear and my clutch pedal snaps and my foot pushes it to the floor. I had to drive the car home in 2nd but now as im looking at the transmission and the cable isnt snapped from the clutch fork. Im looking at my pedal inside the car and i see the neutral switch( grey little box) and theres a little plastic peice with a clip on it but nothing else. Where does the other part of the clutch cable hook to?? maybe it fell off? I dont know where to route the cable from the firewall to the pedal inside the car. Any help will be appriciated.

Have someone push on the clutch while the clip is on there. Did the clip fall back a few notches?

its right over the gas pedal. the clutch pedal is connected to a rod that goes over by the gas pedal

i just checked it out while i was lying next to the clutch pedal inside the car. i followed the cable and it doesnt seem like its snapped. but im not sure what you mean by that clip its right at the end of the plastic rod. should i move it up?? it is slid down to the end.

just take off the stock quadrant and get a good aftermarket one with firewall adjuster. if the cable isnt snapped than your quadrant is
