Does anyone know the correct cable length for the 5.0L clutch cable?

NAPA has 3 sizes. the one I bought was 56 and 15/16" the other which they didnt have was 60 or 62 plus"

Anyone?

do you not have the old one? If you do then you should measure it!!

yeah I have the one thats one the car.. but I would like to find out before taking the old one off, measuring then if wrong have to put the old one back on then get the right one then do it all over again...

then I would go with prolly the 60 inch then you would rather have one too long then not long enough

I just went down and CRUDELY measured my stock cable with a tape measure, it was just shy of 60 inches

To second the last comment, I just tonight installed a Steeda adjustable kit on my 95, the kit came with a Fox cable (60 inches) and the 95 cable is also 60 inches.

EXCUSE ME....sorry for trying to help you. Well I tried to tell you its prolly 60 inches and if the autoparts store only has one size and you ask which one to get. I tell you prolly the 60 inch and you say they dont have it. If they only have 1 size then why are you asking which one to get? I suggest going somewhere that does have a 60 inch

didnt matter anyway, the ball end was wrong so i got a factory ford cable and it should be here this weekend. The car sits until then.
