A while back my clutch cable broke for my center force clutch and I replaced it with a Steeda adjustable. Well I replaced the centerforce with a Spec stage 1 and I've been having some problems and I have no clue what it is. I have about 3 inches of slack where my pedal is just dangling and when I get on it the engine revs up but the car don't run like it used to. The cable is adjusted as far as it can be, anybody have some suggestions or know what is going on? Thanks, Corey.

you might want to look into a new quadrant/firewall adj. so you can adjust things yourself

you might have adjusted the cable wrong or your pedal might need adjustment. it involves pushing the clutch in a few times (car off) then pulling it back up from underneath, never done it so i can't be sure. i think it's in the owner's manual

Do you have an aftermarket quad?
You really need a firewall adjuster - the adjuster cable is good for the larger adjustments, the firewall adjuster for the fines ones.
Are you SURE the cable is adjusted as far as it can go at the trannie?
