clutch cable probs

I have just put a new clutch kit and cable in my car
the first cable binded on me in less than 600 miles

I put a new cable in and it drove great for about 1000 miles and now it is starting to bind up

anyone have any suggestions

is it an adjustable cable? if so it could be when you tightened up you were just turning the cable and it was twisting...so id put some vice grips on it next time and tighten the bolt. or you can just get an oem cable. what do you mean by binding anyways?

I would have to say that you have something mis aligned. Check the quadrent and the routing. You may have to replace your quadrent on the pedals. If you just did that, that could be your problem if it is on crooked. Those are my gueses.

what is the correct routing

how exactly should the cable be routed, my stock cable all of a sudden is throwing a fit and I am wondering if I have it routed incorrectly.

could someone shed some light on how it should be routed.

this seems to be a common problem for a few different guys the past few weeks on stangnet.
