Clutch cable, quadrant, and adjuster?

You'll have the most fun removing the oem quadrant. Peel the carpet back and push the pedal all the way down. Remove the two pins. You'll have to break or pry off the white plastic piece. The new one goes in a lot easier. The cable and adjuster are a snap.

do yourself a flavor,take the seat out,even then its a bear.

Hey, Thanks for posting that!! You've got the new link too. I'm trying to be gentle before pulling the old site, I've got some good stuff planned on the mustang 5 speed world, no more old used parts.

I still put up a link to your article where it seems to be needed (and very often in PM's).

I did indeed notice the new site construction. Does that mean the GT40 motor is all sorted out and running like a champ?

no, and, frankly that's why you haven't seen much of me, as I have NO running mustang, and it's difficult to keep up the enthusiasm to write and talk about it when it's been so long since I drove it.

after lodging that bolt in the valve, I ripped the head off and gave it to a friend who swore he could redo the head for free at auto school. He jerked around with me for over a month and got nothing done.

I finally got the head back a couple of weeks ago, however, About a month ago I dropped off the maverick for what is going to be a strip to the shell and build back up resto, and is going to be a high doller resto, paid for by my mother and me. Now, unfortunately I can't spare a dime for the stang.

So, Off with the gt40p heads, since I don't have the cash to fix the seat. I'm just gonna slap some slightly ported e7's on it that I have laying around this sat, and go from there. I'm slightly bummed, but whatever.

Sheesh mang, sorry to hear that. But keep a perspective showing that some time down the line, you will have a tip-top Mav and the stang will be how you want it (with no compromises from the original plans having really been made).
Were I close to ya, I'd atleast lend a hand with parts swapping.
