Clutch adjustment

Have a 94 GT, just put the motor back in along with a new clutch. My problem is I can not get this clutch adjusted so it releases just off the floor. I’ve tried to loosen the cable and tighten the cable neither way does anything. It’s almost all the way up before it’s releasing. Has a multi position quadrant and I have it hooked in the farthest slot . Just looking for any info

If this is your first time using a multi-hook quadrant then try lining it up against your last quadrant and select the hook that is in the nearest position to the hook on your old quadrant.

This will likely be the most comfortable position for you.
