clutch cable

got a 92 lx gt with 351w keep breaking adjustable clutch cables. stock wont work too sloppy. does anyone know who makes a strong clutch cable? i have busted two ford racing cables from summit and they cant give me any advice but a new company like bbk. thanks guys.

Make sure you are installing it and adjusting it properly. There should be no kinks, pinches, twists or tight bends in the cable, and the clutch should start to catch when the pedal is something like 2 inches from the floor. If the clutch pedal has a gummy feeling, you've likely got it pinched somewhere. I can't imagine why else your cable would be snapping. I'd say try a different brand and be careful on the install.

Ford oem non adjustable or at the very least ford oem adjustable..oem ford only all the others break, period. If you want a really good set up get a maximum motorsports quad, ford oem non adjustable from them and iether their FWA or maybe a upr one and walk away and you won't have to worry about snapped crap cables again, I run the mms set up and love it. That's my advice.
