my clutch was changed with a centraforce assembly, i have a 2001 GT tr3560 transmission, went ahead and drove the car in the city too 500 miles, i have the steeda quardrant and firewall adjuster, went in and adjusted the clutch one more time at the shop and drove it home, had a show to go too with a long drive when i got there i stoped at a traffic light went into first gear pulled out on the clutch and accaerate next thing i no it starts chattering, its been goining on now since that day i have noticed if i pull 2,000 RPM and pull out on the clutch peddal it wont chatter, only when i come out like at 1500 rpm or so it wil do it and if i do it at a lower RPM it will realy be bad, all other gears work fine. plus this only happens when i drive a long time other words hot, when its cold i can babby the car with no chatter.

Now is this normal operation for a performance clutch?

Am i doing the rpm correctly other words is my way of coming out with clutch is the problem?

or is it another issue i hope not.

Thanks all
Luis

I'm not sure what causes clutch chatter, but I dont think thats normal operation. Hopefully someone with more knowlege will chime in.

Did you have the flywheel resurfaced.. this happens when the resurfacing was not done right.

yes it was resurfaced and it was ok for the frst 500 or 600 miles now it does it only when it gets hot, and if it is that then i guess when i puill the engine this next month i will put in a new flywhell for sure i hope that helps if any, also i heard that it will go away in time

also could be form the pressure plate to flywheel bolts not tq'ed in the proper order, which I believe is going around the outside, not criss-crossed.
