Clutch, clutch cable, tranny? idk

:bang: my clutch worked fine then my tranny blew so i got a rebuilt tranny by a very well known guy so i put it in with a new clutch worked fine the first day then today i was down teh street i turned the car off thurned it back on and my clutch felt really wierd and it would not go into gear so i turned it off put it in gear dove to my house kinda slamin into 2nd got ot my house got it in the air took of the cable cover on the bellhousing and noticed that the cable was looser so i figured stretched so i got a new one pt it on and same thing the self adjuster is pretty much all the way out anyone have an idea? is there a way to tighten the cable or is it the fork? idk :bang: :bang:

Or just get an adjustable quadrant with a couple different hook locations. This is an area where a couple inches can be made up...this way you can let your firewall adjuster back out and fine tune from there.

its a stock quad and everything i dont see any adjustments on eather just that pawl thing and when i pull up on the peddle it just like makes it were i cant use the clutch or it dosnt fully dienguage it i have to go down and push teh peddle in and hold the quad up while the adjuster comes down im guessing i should just save up and buy a new quad with adjustments but i cant spend money now i owe my bro and parents alot i was just gettin home from work and idk mayb i hit the clutch peddle and it started grabing very low again to where i could barly take off and barly shift so i just got down and help teh quad so the pawl could grab at a diff spot and it worked and now its sifts better than evertink it has anything to do witht he fact that i dont have it bolted to the firewall or where ever it is suposed to go?

what kind of clutch do you have? sounds like the cable is stretching. get an adjustable cable and aluminum quadrant. firewall adjusters are nice too...if you get one, spend the extra 15$ and get a GOOD one though. my friend went through 3 of the cheap $20 ones...they kept seizing up on him. i've got the pro5.0 fwa, VERY nice piece. the UPR extreme ones seem to be good too.
