Well the other day, the clutch pedal stopped returning to the original up position, so i just figured that a spring broke. Well i looked down at the clutch equalizer bar, and saw that the release rod had infact come out of the hole that its supposed to be secured into by a spring. But the spring was gone. But here is the problem. The equalizer bar that i am using is missing both holes on the top and bottom arms for springs. So now im wondering how the pedal was ever returning before at all. Its not a '65-'66 type bar either. If i remember correctly, we were running into problems with the bar hitting the headers before, so we went with some other type bar.

And now, the clutch and brake pedals are really loose and wobley when you press on them. Even when you hit the brake, it kindof pushes left and it pushes the clutch pedal with it too. So needless to say, something broke up in there, and i cant figure out what it is. Any ideas?

your second problem is almost certainly the result of your pedal bushings going south up in the support brace. You can get new ones from any catalog, or folks like Mustang Steve make a metal roller bearing for this that essentially eliminates this issue forever. Your choice.

without a pic, I cant comment on your first problem. Maybe thats why I use a cable clutch

Ok, i know why the pedals are wobley and crooked. The long horizontal bar at the top of the clutch pedal is supposed to go through the left side of the pedal support, and out of the right side. And it has come out of the right side. Its a pain trying to get it in the right side. I think im gonna have to disconnect everything down there to get it through the right side. So yeah, im gonna have to get new bushings too.

This sucks...I'm on spring break! Im supposed to be driving the car, not working on it!!!

A word of wisdom, if you havnt done so yet, check the retaining clips and plastic bushings around your pedal linkage, and change them before they decide to break on you and stuff falls out of their correct places. This is a pain to fix after they've fallen out of their slots.
