I’ve been running Spec Stage 3+’s with a Spec alumn flywheel for the last couple of years. They have not been holding up for me and neither had the other clutches I had tried (DF Centerforce, AFM hi-rev) so I decided to upgrade to a McLeod Street-twin. I called Jegs and got a price and avail and later called back and ordered it. After installing it I had a MAJOR vibration in my car. I could tell right away that the flywheel was balanced wrong. So I found my invoice and looked up the part number to find out Jegs sent me the wrong assy. So they got McLeod to send me the correct unit and let me return the wrong one. I didn’t do enough research on the clutch to know that I needed to have a new clutch fork and adjustable pivot ball for it.
So after chasing parts for a month I finally got it all installed only to find out this flywheel was not the correct balance either. Somehow Spec had sent me a 28oz flywheel and my engine builder balanced it to my engine without telling us.
So I had to take it apart again and rebalance the new McLeod flywheel to match the old one. So after a month and a half of messing with it I finally have a new clutch in my car
The new McLeod seems to work well. It’s had quite a bit more peddle pressure than my Spec clutch did, but it’s not bad at all. I took it out and drove it last night and so far I’m very happy with it.

. Yea...its not a lot, but gets the job done with a best of 12.5 at 112. I still need more on my 60' footers though
