Okay heres the story last week I was driving home and my throwout bearing gave out, so last weekend I changed the pilot bearing(what a bitch) and the throwout bearing. Now heres the weird part: My pedal is way-way-way to hard. If I loosen the cable then it wont pull the fork back enough and if I pull up on the pedal, the pedal gets way to much slack and I can get the car in gear and the car wont start. I can smell the clutch burning if I rev it up but I can't loosen up the cable or the car wont start or go into gear ?

WTF is wrong?? The clutch is a King Cobra with about 8000 miles on it. The pedal effort was so easy before and now the car wont drive unless I preload the cable with the fork halfway back.

Could I have put the disk on backwards ???
